St John provides emergency healthcare services across New Zealand, in a complex, fast moving, high technology environment. The importance of technology in supporting our business process is well understood here and an opportunity has arisen for a SQL Server Database Administrator to join the team.
You will be responsible for the investigation, design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and reporting within the St John systems. The role is reporting through to the ICT Development Manager.

You have:
Proven experience within a commercial environment
Demonstrated experience in database design, development and operations
Excellent communication skills
At least 1 year of SQL Server and T-SQL experience
Good organisational and time management skills
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services and Reporting Services would be an advantage
Other development experience would be an advantage (e.g. Microsoft.Net)
