Как защитить wireless?

Ok - thats about 65000 possibilities - could still take a while
already i have found two that are active
192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2
but alas they are not accessible with my browser

Another way is to reset your wireless access point:

Locate the Reset button on the back of the DWL-G700AP
Use a paper clip to press the Reset button
Hold for about 5 seconds and then release
After the DWL-G700AP reboots (this may take a few minutes) it will be reset to the factory default settings.

And then try to connect to it by http://192.168.0.50/

Great! To scan the range 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.255 is enough

Hold on... What IP of your PC is?
Do you have two wireless network? Or was Vita's computer connected by wire to the ADSL router?

simply - we have one adsl router with 4 ports - one of these ports is connected to a DWL-G700AD and this talks to the computer fitted with DWL-G510

everything seems to work again but 192.168.0.50 still does not work for accessing the 700

i've rescanned the ips and found six active ips in the range 168.192.0.0 to 168.192.1.255 - all inaccessible and none of which resemble a utility for changing security protocols for the 700 - i think the time is fast approaching for getting out the shovel - to dig the trench for the new network cable to the house

wishing you a jolly good night - toodle pip and best of luck - signing off V&A
and thanks for trying!

the active ips that i can see are probably on other wifi networks in the area
192.168.1 with final numbers 5, 9, 38, 39, 42, 43 but all inaccessible
the 700 still eludes ip discovery

192 is different subnet mask from our network which has 10 - if the default ip does not restore with reset God only knows what it has automatically set itself to

what IP of your PC is?

pls copy all output of "ipconfig /all" command

not to be condescending - but that is merely the ip address of the adsl router - the wireless DWL-G700 is the wifi device which needs securing - browsing the adsl router utility will not secure the 700 - correct me if i am wrong

Well, the only I would suggest you is to reset the 700 and use the default IP (192.168.0.50) to open admin interface.
