NZ bilders & DIY Extensions

Hi Folks

Heres a question of those in the know....

What are the laws and restrictions regarding building your own home and or building and extension onto an existing property.

i.e. Could I a talented DIY layman build my own property or add an extension to an existing home in NZ?

Or would it all need to be done by certified tradesmen?

Спасибо всем за ответы, внимательно порылся по вашей ссылке, мне кажется если не ошибаюсь, можно построить, они и описывают поэтапно как нужно делать и как это регулируется http://www.dbh.govt.nz/builditright-homeowners-owner-exemptions

Там тоже зависит, в частности, от размеров, и, например, высоты над землёй:


"A building consent is required for any deck or balcony that is 1.5 m or more above cleared ground level. "


Т.е. можно и тогда самому, но нужно разрешение получать.
