I need this topic to be in Engl so that the friend of mine who needs this info could read it himself and ask questions.

How long does it take to make an International passport (for 18-year old) nowdays and is there a legal way of speeding it up?

Hello,

The standart time is about 3 mounths. You can speed up officially this will cost you addtitionally about 300uah. But I would suggest you to to ask the inspector that will collect your documents if he can help you to speed up. He will tell you unofficial cost, about 500uah.

I've searched the Net, and they say, up to 3 weeks (sounds a bit unrealistic). One site says, add 170 uah and speed it up.
