Во-вторых, хочу подвести первую черту под итогами на данном этапе:
1.Пуговица Новозеландская , о чем говорит присутствие на ней герба 1956г.- версия малосерийного сувенирного или кустарного изготовления , высказанная curious , мне кажется несостоятельной , т.к. в принципе не соответствует направлению канарской сувенирной продукции.
2.Принадлежность к военной униформе маловероятна, о чем свидетельствует обследование сайта

Честно говоря , пуговицы – не моя тема в коллекционировании , меня интересуют знаки и значки молодежной тематики: Фестивали молодежи и студентов, студенческие строительные отряды , а также комсомольские и молодежные организации разных стран. А начинал я в коллекционировании с геральдики – пуговица эта меня и заинтересовала наличием интересного герба.
Теперь о «буре эмоций» после переписки с Ted Harris, которую приведу ниже.
Думаю что и из вашего заокеанского далека , при всей неоднозначности восприятия нашего Российского и Советского прошлого , не притупилось чувство Родины , за которую очень часто бывает обидно.
Не люблю политику , но не взирая на это , вольно или невольно оказываюсь в нее вовлеченным , как и миллионы сограждан в России и во всем мире – и это понятно.
Но чтобы так политизировались отношения в общении коллекционеров - такое со мной в первый раз.
Сразу сделаю оговорку , что ввиду ограниченности моих познаний в английском, переводчиком моих мыслей выступала дочь – студентка 1-ого курса вуза с английским уклоном – надеюсь она была точна в определениях.

Should I give up my hobby and become a revolutionist? I don't like this offer much.
Russia has change a lot for the last 15 years. These changes were not always positive, but still I'm sure we walk the right way. Everything can't come at once.
I don't think it's a good idea to judge the whole country by few people. The porn and drug traders aren't only in Russia.
I'm not going to make a fortune on selling the item. My collegues and I are interested in the history of these buttons as much as in the history of the buttons from your site.
I thought New Zealand's and Australian inhabitants were more friendly. And I was sure that answering my question wouldn't be very difficult job for such knowledgable person like you are. I was mistaken.

The reason Australia and New Zealand are both free democracies with a healthy political system is because we get off our arse and make it so. Russia has not yet done that. You put up with Putin because he tells you what to do, what to think and what to wear/eat/say. Just like the old days of the Tsar and later the Communists. Keep your system. It suits you. It fucks your country but it suits you.
As for the buttons, I have no expertise outside the military items.
Send your request to the New Zealand Government (they have a office in Moscow). They might know.
And, as for being friendly....................who supplied the weapons that killed our soldiers in Korea and Vietnam....Russia and China. VERY FRIENDLY.

Хотя эмоции переполняли и было что ответить, но трудно это делать через переводчика , да и вряд ли это помогло бы в решении основной задачи – опознании пуговицы.
Я просто хочу теперь понять – может я был очень настойчив и перегнул палку , вызвав такую ответную реакцию или в Австралии и Новой Зеландии все "коренные" так "хорошо" относятся к России.
Не знаю как вам , а мне за державу обидно.
Еще раз благодарю всех и по-прежнему буду рад любой помощи.
Не успокаиваюсь на достигнутом - исследование продолжается …
